I am purposefully posting an archived blog from one year ago!  My usual process of ‘mulling over an inspiration’ had me focused on COMFORT!  How to give or receive comfort in changing times.  The basic is to look after ourselves first!  As I look back, a year ago, I find solace in knowing that intentional comfort remains within ourselves and how we treat ourselves.  Ever more important as we face new realities and cope with a ‘new normal.’

Below is the original post July 15th, 2020

I think we are all in desperate need of a break!  When’s the last time you disconnected and took a break?  Is there a place you can go to break away for a little while?  Everyone needs a break to refuel, recharge and be ready to move ahead in these challenging times.  Take a breath that helps you to regain yourself and adjust life.

Do something nice for yourself.  Find a break from today’s challenges.  Take a small escape, a small respite, a change of scene, a quiet place.  Create a purposeful comfort that will offer moments of relief!  Cut yourself some slack.  We all know the current situation is anything but easy for all kinds of reasons. The tough times have lingered and it is so easy to miss the bright side.  Find the bright side within and recognize the need to disconnect and take a break.
