“Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.”

            ~ Karl Barth

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has a cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

            ~ Albert Schewitzer

“Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life.”

            ~ Joel Osteen

“No one who achieves success does so without acknowledging the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.”

            ~ Alfred North Whitehead

Leadership is indeed a tough task, even on the easier days! However, the challenging days are better when one practices gratitude. There is no better time to remind everyone that gratitude is a daily attitude and not only prompted by a holiday! We must remember that our leadership did not happen alone. We must be grateful for the people around us! Grateful for their loyalty. Grateful for the success that a team drives.

A grateful leadership is essential to making a difference. Leadership comes with the opportunity and responsibility to model a heartfelt and genuine attitude of gratitude. Gratitude fosters a positive work culture that is driven by purpose, appreciation and respect. Gratitude builds relationships, engages people, shapes positive attitudes and contributes to the well being of individuals and an organization.
