Spring Snow!

“O, wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind?”

            ~ Percy Bysshe Shelley

“The snow must give way to the will of the spring.”

            ~ Pepper Blair

“Despite the forecast, live like it’s spring.”

            ~ Lilly Pulitzer

Spring Snow is joyful! Unlike our current health crisis, we can be sure that ‘things’ will greatly improve in a matter of days! Mother Earth gives comfort as the sun moves a little higher in the sky and the ground warms and this spring snow will melt quickly! The spring snow will not linger.

We don’t always get what we think should be but sometimes we have to put up with ‘winter weather!’ But how much do we put up with! When do we write a final chapter? Can we ever write a final chapter?

We are exhausted! So much feels as dreadful as it appears. Our strength is waning in the lack of accountability in so much around us! I suggest we accept this day, the joy in a spring snow and the knowledge it will end and better will arrive. A forecast we can truly believe!

“An optimist is the human personification of spring.”

            ~ Susan J. Bissonette
