“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

~ Aesop

“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.”

~ William Arthur Ward

“The difference between darkness and brightness is how you thrive on those moments and how you use such circumstances with goodwill in your spirit.”

~ Angelica Hopes

“Did I offer peace today? Did I bring a smile to someone’s face? Did I say words of healing? Did I let go of my anger and resentment? Did I forgive? Did I love? These are the real questions. I must trust that the little bit of love that I sow now will bear many fruits, here in this world and the life to come.”

~ Henri Nouwen

I was trying to avoid this topic but … there is no doubt that anyone escapes the Christmas Season!   No matter your traditions or practices at this time of year, it is near impossible to not get caught up in it.

Above all else this time of year provides an opportunity to remind our spirit to practice goodwill and kindness to all!  People of all cultures, beliefs, traditions and practices deserve kindness and goodwill.

Generous expressions of specific and random acts of kindness bring a calm spirit and can provide a time to quietly reflect.  Remember, you get what you put into it!

Goodwill doesn’t just apply to this time of year.  Find your generosity and your kind spirit!  Be genuine and thoughtful.  When you find such kindness in your heart and soul it won’t matter if it is ‘the season’ or not!
