What’s in a Storm!

Blog

“When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person that walked in.  That’s what the storm is about.”

~ Haruki Murakami

“When the storm rips you to pieces you get to decide how to put yourself back together again.”

~ Bryant McGill

“There are some things you can only learn in a storm.”

~ Joel Osteen

“You can’t calm the storm … so stop trying.  What you can do is calm yourself.  The storm will pass.”

~ Tiber Hawkeye

It is not an Ontario thunder and lightning storm lending inspiration today.  It is an Alberta snow storm.  I am stuck in a very unfamiliar place, on a motor coach (fancy name for a bus) on the road north to Edmonton!    An Alberta blizzard is all around.

A storm can hit anytime.  In any place!  In nature or in our workplace.  Whatever a storm brings, there is always a solution.  I suggest that a storm analogy is a learning moment.  A thoughtful leadership will learn significant intelligence from a storm.   A transformational leader will see the opportunities of a storm and put aside fear and dread.

When BMG walks into a storm, our associates are prepared to guide you to a calmer place where the solutions can be found.  Our BMG Associates will guide through the seemingly impossible storm and help make after the storm possible.
