You Have a Voice!

Blog

“When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.”

            ~ Malala Yousafzai

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.”

           ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Do your homework. Find your voice. Be authentic. And then dive in with purpose.”

            ~ Julie Foudy

“Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.”

           ~ Maya Angelou

In my opinion, Social and Political pettiness is everywhere!  The ability to jump on any bent is instantaneous!   You’d have to be living under a rock to not have witnessed the latest selfishness of some people.  All the more selfish given the tragic events that transpired!   Truly an example of a not so thoughtful voice that could be better suited to purposeful intent!

BMG believes that a good leader must purposefully speak with integrity, say what they mean and keep honesty first and foremost.  Pettiness, selfishness and narrow mindedness has no place in leadership. Good leaders will pause, think, ponder and question their own voice in the context of honesty and purpose.   An impeccable voice gives an opportunity for clear communication, to be courageous, to genuinely engage, to avoid misunderstandings and to lead with transformation.

How will you use your voice?
