“You can’t stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
~ Winnie-the-Pooh
I realize that my friendships have sustained me in so many ways in recent times. As the world rights itself and as I right myself it feels so important to acknowledge the gift of friendship. Perhaps time for all of us to recognize how friends enrich our lives and bring us happiness. Friendships have a huge impact on our mental, emotional and physical health and provide much comfort and joy. Friends support our overall well-being! Friendships teach us about ourselves. Throughout recent events, friendships have kept us going through some tough times. As important as it is to receive friendship and all its benefits it is equally import to be a good friend! Meaningful friendship is a two-way street.
“There’s nothing better than a friend unless it is a friend with chocolate.”
~ Linda Grayson
