“Allow the world to live as it chooses, and allow yourself to live as you choose.”
~ Richard Back
“Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual you have an obligation to be one.”

“I’m not heartless; I’ve just learned how to use my heart less.”

“If you want to fly, you must give up what weighs you down.”
~ Roy T. Bennett
Do you listen to yourself? Do you hear yourself? Do you look for ways to connect to yourself and find ways to trust your thoughts or question your thoughts? We all have bad patches in life and once again, how it all ends is the choices we make for ourselves. Sometimes our own voice and language is loud, and we need to pay attention. As I truly listened, to my own voice, I was quite alarmed that my go to place was “I don’t care.”
Sometimes it is a simpler route to just give up and move on! Surrender is possibly healthier at times. But holding tight to values and the moral responsibility to care is crucial to our own survival. In my case I knew it was not me to just not care or to give up! With many thoughtful moments and digging deeper behind the words I realized that I still cared but I cared differently! And that’s okay!
“If I look at the mass I will never act. If I look at the one, I will.”
~ Mother Theresa
