“So far, you’ve survived 100% of your worst days. You’re doing great.”
~ Unknown
“We all have bad days, but one thing is true; no cloud is so dark that the sun can’t shine through.”
~ Miranda Kerr
“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.”
~ Mary Anne Radmacher
“You will have good days, bad days, overwhelming days, too tired days, “I’m awesome” days “I can’t go on” days and every day you’ll still show up.”
~ Tiny buddha – Lori Deschene
‘We all have stuff.’ ‘Stuff,’ the good, the bad and the ugly! I am delighted to remind all of us that we are not alone in the challenges of our ‘stuff’ that often overtakes our thoughts and feelings. The ‘stuff’ comes with expectations, and often misplaced expectations, that make the load we carry a bigger challenge when perhaps it doesn’t need to.
It’s about feelings, being tired, needing attention, finding your voice, hiding emotions, and changing reactions, to mention a few. The ebb and flow of a life lived will always come with ‘stuff’ but also with the time to cope or celebrate and eventually resolve how we are affected. How we manage ‘stuff’ can be as simple as self-care and how we recharge, refuel and refresh, or as difficult as deciding which road to take to confront our ‘stuff.’ The road can be as simple as asking for help, taking a break, being patient, or as difficult as honoring mistakes and can often be rewritten by remembering past successes, and always holding hope. ‘Stuff’ is familiar, and we have faced it before, and we have survived and thrived! And we will again! Always!
