“The present is the only reality and the only certainty.”
~ Arthur Schopenhauer
“In all affairs it’s a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.”
~ Bertrand Russell
“When we find our core certainty within, then we no longer look for certainty outside.”
~ Deepak Chopra
I know, with all certainty, that the changes I am experiencing are creating doubt. With all certainty, I know that change is a part of life. I am equally certain that we all have two choices; to ride with the change or wallow in doubt.
The current changes are uncomfortable and unsettling! We have all experienced the disappearance of ‘normal.’ In this present moment there is a critical need to hang on to even a thread of normal, tradition and practice. A thread of normal will bring comfort! And while it may not seem perfect it does mean clarity and certainty are possible and probable!
Settled moments in chaos bring a sense of structure and certainty. A willingness to build something new with threads of tradition, practice and normal means clarity and certainty are more important than ever.
“For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.”
~ Vincent Van Gogh
