“Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it.”
~ Tori Amos
“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.”
~ David Richo
“The process of healing does not end when the wounds are no longer visible, it ends when the wounds no longer ache.”
~ Unknown
“Each of us has a unique part to play in the healing of the world.”
~ Marianne Williamson
I personally feel that the wounds of Covid run deep! Here we are about to come out of a global experience with personal wounds. I find myself searching for ways to heal and move forward in an altered reality. Healing is a process of becoming whole and healthy. In this transformation, healing requires a new sense of wholeness. Healing is a personal experience as much as getting through the pandemic has been!
I believe we are able to heal ourselves through thoughtful reflection and self-awareness as we walk through a path of healing. The wholeness of healing involves physical, mental and emotional awareness. Post-pandemic is a time to put together the broken, damaged pieces that will help us to feel good again, gather our resilience and refocus the future. As we move forward to embrace old familiar places we can find a healing awareness of self and make our way to being well, positive and whole again.
