Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.

Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.

Here we are standing on the edge of winter and it was 18 above on this 1st day of November. Truly a day to be grateful for. An unusual day that has inspired me to tell you about the opportunity to write for BMG and the faith of David Barnes to leave me to my musings. I’ve enjoyed writing with no purpose but to feel the joy of it.
In my career my writings were inspired by a cause! I wrote hundreds of applications, proposals and reports because I believed in the work I was doing and I was inspired by the journeys of others. I put my heart and soul into every job no matter how big or small. And now, gratefully, I find myself surrounded by like hearted colleagues who put heart and soul into the work that they do, no matter how big or small the job. And at the core of that inspiration is the journeys of people.
I encourage you to look around! See the inspiration that people and situations bring to your life. When you are given the chance to be inspired put your heart, mind and soul into everything you do. See the opportunities and the possibilities. I suggest that inspiration is there for the taking. In every moment and even in an unusually warm November day as we stand on the edge of winter.
Thank You David for the inspiration you give and receive!
