“Rest when you’re weary. Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind and your spirt. Then get back to work.”
~ Ralph Marston
“True restoration takes patience, subtlety, skill and grace.”
~ Paul Tripp
“Where do we even start on the daily walk of restoration and awakening? We start where we are.”
~ Anne Lamott
“You can’t change who you are, but you can change what you have in your head, you can refresh what you’re thinking about, you can put some fresh air in your brain.”
~ Ernesto Bertarelli
How do you restore and refresh yourself? I’m feeling weary! And you can bet other people are noticing my weariness.
In order to lead a vibrant team, you need to be a vibrant leader. If you are weary it is time to restore and refresh! It is time to stop stressing and worrying! Nothing gets done in that state! Time to let it all go and find ways to put the weariness behind you. You need to lighten up! It is a leader’s best quality when they can change, renew and restore themselves! It is a strength to refresh and restore yourself! And a team success when you can help those around you to refresh and restore too.
Never underestimate the importance of rejuvenating yourself, your mind, body and soul! Never underestimate the importance of noticing your own weariness and doing something about it.
