“I’ve begun to realize that you can listen to silence and learn from it. It has a quality and a dimension all its own.”

“The quieter you become the more you are able to hear.”

‘In quiet moments when you think about it, you recognize what is critically important in life and what isn’t. Be wise and don’t let good things crowd out those that are essential.’
~ Richard G. Scott
Yes. It’s a bit quiet! I’ve come to be content with the solitude and can now be grateful for the days that are quietly passing by. Perhaps the goal for this uncertain time is to let our thoughts just be our thoughts and to rest in the quiet.
When we block out the noise we pay respect to the real sounds and embrace positive communication. The skill to listen to the silence and tune out the noise will serve you well. Silence is an indication of empathy and a source of great strength. Did you know your body is more at rest in silence? Silence can lower your blood pressure, enhance your sleep and boost your overall well-being. Silence can increase self-awareness and self-compassion. In silence we are more mindful of the importance of today! Silence is the presence of meaning.
