Stuart Barnes

As the head of the BMG Training Institute and Operations Manager for BMG, Stuart has a wide range of responsibilities. These include building our roster of experienced and talented trainers by recruiting “like-hearted” subject matter experts – People who share a core set of values with Barnes Management Group – things like placing a focus on equity, diversity, inclusion, reconciliation and belonging. Through his business development efforts, Stuart builds relationships with organizations, helping discover the best ways in which we can improve an organization. Working with your leaders, Stuart will recommend the ideal courses for your needs, develop a schedule that suits your staff and make sure the trainers and resources you need for success are at your fingertips.
In addition to his work with the Training Institute, Stuart plays a key role in Barnes Management Group’s consulting work. In addition to recruiting Associates to join our team, Stuart can be found supporting
Christine Clayton, BMG’s Head of Consulting, on the Requests for Proposal that align with our team’s skills and our organization’s mission vision and values. As part of the SO team, Stuart can often be found jumping onto teams and into projects to support our teams, however necessary.
Stuart holds a BA Specialization in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario. This educational background provides unique insight into the human mind, and the world around us that shapes behaviour. He is an experienced Researcher whose positive outlook and lofty expectations of himself and those around him raises the bar on any project with which he is involved.
