“If you want to see the sunshine, you have to weather the storm.”
~ Frank Lane
“I want to lay down, let the sun hit my face and forget about absolutely everything.”
~ Unknown
“May you always walk in sunshine. May you never want for more.”
~ Irish Blessing
I’m so grateful for spring! And grateful to Mother Earth for her steadfastness and certainty! Mother Earth brings us spring to focus on the life giving and nourishment of nature. Spring is a time of renewal. March brings longer days and Maple Syrup, April blooms with cherry, apple and magnolia blossoms and May settles into the glories of colour.
It’s the time of year to feel reconnected to ourselves. Simply sit outside and feel the air, smell the fragrance of spring, watch the clouds, hear the noises of nature and appreciate the abundance all round. Its been a particularly harsh winter to hang on to ourselves. It has been a strange time to hold on to mindful practices that nourish our souls. Mother Earth did not forget us and is here, once again, to take us back to our connection to ourselves and the earth.
“Keep your face always toward the sunshine – and shadows will fall behind you.”
~ Walt Whitman
