Given the events of the past weeks, I doubt that anyone in this county would have missed the outcomes of a WIN. And I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take the win to the context of leadership and organizational team spirit.
When you lead a team in a thoughtful, self-aware manner you have a responsibility to notice and recognize everyday progress. Even the smallest win can make the biggest difference. Recognition means a win for the team. A leader’s self-awareness sets the tone for everyday wins that drive motivation in a staff team. A leader’s awareness makes all the difference to how a staff team feels about their work, their performance and their leadership.
Remember as a leader you are the driver of creativity and productive performance. A thoughtful and self-aware leader leads a team that feels happy and motivated about their work, positive about their team and their organization and positive about your leadership. They are ready to win!
When a team can live in the moment and win everyday it means they are making progress in meaningful work!
