“My favorite weather is bird chirping weather.”
~ Terri Guillemets
“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.”
~ Khalil Gibran
“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.”
~ John Ruskin
“Nature is so powerful, so strong. Capturing its essence is not easy – your work becomes a dance of light and the weather. It takes you to a place within yourself.”
~ Annie Leibovitz
I personally feel there is zero expectation going on about the weather. And as the climate changes I suggest we have a new level of weather instability. The seasons either drag along or impulsively burst onto the scene. There is no shortage of scientific research on the effects of weather; physically, mentally, spiritually, or emotionally.
My point today is not to question the research but to rather encourage all of us to understand the changing environment. Perhaps an enhanced understanding can help to better ready our mind and body to embrace the positive feelings we can have about the changing weather. With thoughtful purpose we can notice the subtle and not so subtle weather changes that impact our day-to-day life and find our place in those changes!
“It’s a beautiful day, don’t let it get away.”
