Aging is about a continuous change that we all experience, changes we can somewhat plan for with small steps and healthy habits. Eat well, sleep well, keep moving, and use your brain! It’s about finding daily habits to stive for health and wellness. Staying active applies to all ages. Maintaining strength and balance is easy to take for granted. Leading an active life is a purposeful intent to plan for aging in a positive and self-aware way, that impacts on general physical and mental health. Maintaining your independence contributes positively to your dignity.
It’s never too late to get started on a life well lived. It’s never too late to have some control over what happens to you as you age. We can’t control everything but taking good care of ourselves deserves our attention.
