“When the world is so complicated, the simple gift of friendship is within all of our hands.”
~ Maria Shriver
In simplest form, friendship helps us to change and grow. It gives us the courage to take chances. It gives us a place to belonging. Common values and interests draw us in and opens the door to friendship. Friendship has a non-compete clause and can make us feel less isolated and less alone. Friends call us out on our not so great, endearing qualities and friends are willing to support us through the tough times!
Friendships gives the gift of trust, forgiveness, and loyalty! A life well lived includes friendship and the purpose it gives our lives. Friendship is meant to be given and received with no judgement, with confidence and with respect. True friendship enables us to count on others for care and support and for us to return the same genuine kindness and goodwill!
