“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.”
~ Napoleon Hill
“You can dance in the storm. Don’t wait for the rain to be over because it might take too long. You can can do it now. Wherever you are, right now, you can start, right now; this very moment.”
~ Israelmore Ayivor
“You’ve done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities. Redirect the substantial energy of your frustrations and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination.”
~ Ralph Marston
I am back on the shores of Rideau Lake, halfway between Kingston and Ottawa on the Rideau Canal Waterway, for the month of August. I am writing from the cottage porch!
I’ve brought my mindful ways to the shore. I’m mindful of every lap of the boat waves, the chirp of every bird, the brightness of every flash of lightning, the roll of every thunder, the flight of every butterfly that decides to eat clover outside of the porch and how much mindfulness has enriched my life! Being present is a skill that enriches ‘do it now’ opportunities.
In my early leadership days, I learned the hard way that hoping something would go away was not a mindful approach. I see now it was a mindless approach and to add insult to injury, when the ‘issue’ went silent I fooled myself into believing it had gone away! In fact, every unattended warning sign never goes away and the lesson learned is “do it or deal with it” NOW!
If you are in a mindful moment and the warning signals are all around, contact BMG! We can support your need to Do it NOW.
