“We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we will take a little of each other everywhere.”

“If you’re brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello.”
~ Paulo Coelho
As we say goodbye to another year, it can be a time to reflect on the many goodbyes in our lifetime! Our lives are full of goodbyes for an overabundance of reasons. A goodbye can be the first step in a new phase of life or simply the act of moving forward. A goodbye is a purposeful chance to acknowledge an end and a new beginning. Goodbye forces us to find our words of thanks, hurt, memories, choices, sorrow, joy, regret, and gratitude, to express a few of my words! Goodbye is an act of self-care and an expression of respect for oneself! Goodbye can give a sense of closure as we move to new adventures.
