“Socks are often one of the most needed but least donated items at shelters as our neighbors who are homeless prepare for the winter months.”
~ Brad Montague
“Injustice anywhere … is a threat to justice everywhere.”
~ Martin Luther King Jr.
“Being homeless doesn’t make you any less human, any less deserving of dignity and respect.”

“One kind word can warm three winter months.”
~ Japanese proverb
Winter has arrived! I’m cold BUT… I have shelter, I have food, I have warm clothes, I have respect, I have my dignity, I have friends, I have family and I have hope. I am grateful and I am fortunate! And I understand not everyone is as fortunate as I am. When it gets cold, stop, and look beyond your own gratitude. Do your part to ease the sufferings of the homeless in the cold. Donate clothes, food, money, and/or time! And at the very least, notice, and care!
“A little more kindness and little less judgment.”
~ Unknown
