The HeartS of BMG ~ Change of Seasons!

“You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.”

~ Jim Rohn

“When the seasons shift, even the subtle beginning, the scent of a promised change, I feel something stir inside me. Hopefulness? Gratitude? Openness? Whatever it is, it’s welcome.”

 ~ Kristin Armstrong

“Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly that year. The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple.”

~ J.K. Rowling – Harry Potter

“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

~ Socrates

I think the projects we do, here at BMG, are like bursts of colour!   Much like the fall leaves we are presently experiencing .  Actually a year round burst of colour, regardless of the season.   As a consultant, winning a project is an honour.  However, the burst of colour starts the moment a rfp hits our radar!   We thoughtfully craft an appropriate team and then spend time appreciating the work put into the rfp, understanding the required project and welcoming a peek into the agency/organization.  The burst of colour is then a collective response from the right BMG team, the possibility to give back and the anticipation of winning the bid!   And all that expectation is the essence grounded in the acts of giving back and making a difference.

A bid requires BMG to focus energy and produce a response to a rfp that will bring positive change and collective outcomes for the organization and its community.   This time of year is a reminder of the power of change in everything we do.  The change of season is a reminder of the burst of colours that each seasons brings.  The change of season is a metaphor for hope and gratitude.  And BMG can be your hope for a successful project that will guide your anticipated change.  As we journey through the fall I encourage you to be mindful of the season and genuinely see the colours and the opportunities for growth and change.
