“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
~ A.A. Milne
Tough days took on new meaning when I was in leadership positions. I truly felt that I did not know the meaning of tough days till my work slammed it in my face! In the early years my skills to handle the challenges were fragile. I had to toughen up! But I had to toughen up in a way that was fair to everyone, including myself! Fairness in any change demands a thoughtful, strategic and inclusive process. And as a leader, when the work is well done and complete the tough days don’t seem so tough, and it is possible to see the good in anything that might have seemed daunting!
Surviving the challenges, in leadership, will give you the gifts of strength and courage. Acknowledging your own character will give you permission to find what you need to make the tough days easier. BMG believes that every challenge has a solution. BMG is prepared to help you to find solutions to your challenges and make the tough days easier.
