“Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world.”
~ George Bernard Shaw
“if a window of opportunity appears, don’t pull down the shade.”
~ Tom Peters
“Standing, looking out of the window makes me wish that I had a door.”
~ Anthony T. Hincks
View from a different window was a thought that struck me as one that relates to the everyday responsibilities of leadership. On any given day, it is important to present clean and bright, to set an example of openness and communicate with confidence and kindness while ensuring you look out ever window!
Embracing leadership is to embrace the responsibility to see beyond the obvious. In order to embrace a different view, it is import to look from all angles. A different window gifts opportunity, insight, awareness, compassion and imagination. The view from a different window will ensure that those around you have been seen and you will see yourself as they see you. An inclusive view will have doors and no shades. An intentional, new view will reflect opportunity for growth and success.
Perhaps a partnership with BMG will give you a view from a different window. We would be most pleased to be part of finding and embracing your new view.
