“Mental Health problems don’t define who you are.   They are something you experience.  You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but more importantly, YOU ARE NOT THE RAIN.”

            ~ Matt Haig

“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.”

            ~ Glenn Close

“Mental Health is not a destination, but a process.   It’s about how you drive, not where you are going.”

            ~ Unknown

“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go, they merely determine where you start.”

            ~ Dr. Lauren Fogel Mersy

Sometimes life gets chaotic, muddled, messy, cluttered or is just one big heap!  The challenges are ours alone and significant to self!  Stress, anxiety and depression is often present when we ignore who we are.  Sometimes the challenge becomes louder than our own voice!  No matter our inner strengths, any of us can lose our ability to be true to self.  And with that loss comes the necessity to take small steps to regain your voice and find yourself!  Your voice has the power to bridge the gap between silent and well-being!

Anyone can experience mental health challenges!  The most important tasks are to know yourself, manage your feelings and difficulties, and find quality in all aspects of your life.  This is a reminder to all of us to stay connected, stay active, stay present and mindful, find purpose and meaning and find your voice!
