“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
~ Walt Disney
There is always a good-bye! And not always a good-bye to a person or persons. There are many types of good-byes and so many in the past few years, and not always our choice. Good-bye to habits, traditions, relationships, family, friends, colleagues, favourite food, favourite places, to name a few. Everyone has different good-byes for different reasons.
Every and all good-byes have important practices. Whether big or small, good, or bad, easy, or hard, a good-bye is significant, and is important to acknowledge and accept and then move ourselves along. A good-bye allows reflection and time to recognize the value of our lived experiences. Good-byes are part of who we are! Don’t overlook the gifts of a good-bye that will hold you steady in a new beginning as you welcome a new hello!
