Michelle is an MSW candidate with a BScH, MSc, and PhD in the natural sciences. She brings diverse experience including 8+ years of research administration, grant writing, and research partnership development. In the last 4 years, she has also been involved with peer support groups and not-for-profit organizations related to trauma and dissociation. Her passion merges her experiences, advocating for inclusivity of lived and living experience in research, program development, policy, and administrative processes.

Michelle looks forward to practicing learned social work theory and skills through her placement at BMG. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn a diversity of best practices and reflective approaches from the equally diverse associates at BMG. Michelle’s passions within social work align directly with BMG’s core values of collaboration and teamwork. She is excited to both learn from and contribute to the evolution of how BMG’s core values are engrained in their structure, policy, and services.
