~ Annie Leibovitz
“A change in the weather is sufficient to recreate the world and ourselves.”

“I’ve found that it’s of some help to think of one’s moods and feelings about the world as being similar to weather.”
~ Stephen Fry
“The most beautiful gift of nature is that it gives one pleasure to look around and try to comprehend what we see.”
~ Albert Einstein
Surely I’m not the only one that has noticed that predicting the weather seems to have become much more challenging even for the most knowledgeable experts. With such uncertainty it’s fitting to be more thoughtful of what the weather offers and to intentionally find pleasant surprises even in the most challenging events.
The challenges of the weather and its unpredictability is a reminded that ‘we are not in control.’ But we can challenge ourselves to be more thoughtful of the weather and take the time to consider what opportunities may be present. You might want to consider – the rain can encourage a slower pace, the snow can inspire reflection, the sun gifts the power to see things more clearly and the wind can whisper deep in the soul. When you embrace the challenges of the weather you can have days of thoughtful decisions that have the most positive outcomes. Those outcomes are in our control.
