“If you want to give light to others you have to glow yourself.”

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.”
~ Brené Brown
“Self-care is giving the world the best of you, instead of what’s left of you.”
~ Katie Reed
It never hurts to remind myself that my self-care is the most important job I have. That taking time to recharge, think about myself, care about myself is a productive, positive process. I am my own priority! Your self-care is your priority. Part of self-care is to recognize that it is okay to not be okay and not have all the answers! Self-care is not a selfish act it is an act of necessity. Self-care is critical to our overall wellbeing! Engaging in self-care can lower anxiety, depression, stress, and anger while improving concentration, happiness, and vitality.
Self-care can be as simple as an afternoon nap, a walk, a talk with a friend, simply time for yourself. It is up to each of us to find the best of ourselves, in every day while finding what feeds our soul. Self-care that makes you rested and the most at peace with who you are. Self-care that helps us to pause, relax, reflect, and recharge, feel our best and live well.
