“When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person that walked in. That’s what the storm is about.”
~ Haruki Murakami
“Resilient People immediately look at the problem and say “what’s the solution to that?” What’s this trying to teach me.”

High heat and humidity on these spring days is unfamiliar! The feeling of a storm brewing is not so unfamiliar. Can you feel it? The unknown is unsettling. Yet, when we can be calm and experience a storm we can guide a calmer place in a seemingly impossible challenge.
A storm can hit at anytime! In any place! For a multitude of reasons! The analogy of a storm is enlightening. The storm, this past year, has left us to solve problems, find solutions, rebuild a path, change surroundings and create direction. This storm seems to have lasted forever and it has required us to dig deep. And, still, the forecast is uncertain! Yet the current storm, with self-awareness, has set the stage for the development of long term strategies for productivity and growth grounded in fairness and solidarity. When the storm blows through we can move forward with careful reflection of the storm’s challenges and the lessons learned.
We can rise above our personal fears and doubt! We can learn the lessons of a storm and be part of the resilience of humanity!
“The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow!”
