“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. Its about learning how to dance in the rain.”

I made my usual weekly, family pilgrimage to Toronto this past Saturday! I made it before ‘the storm’ of spring 2018 whipped itself into a real storm! Only to be introduced to ‘Storm Chips’ (check out Covered Bridge Chips) for two days and two nights!
As I laid in a strange bed listening to the familiar and uneasy sound of the wind and ice hitting the windows I was grateful for other things the day brought. The familiarity of family and a few snacks. But I was also struck by the difference of our reaction to the storm and how we coped locked up together for two unexpected days!
How to overcome an obstacle is a great take away from an unexpected storm. In positions of leadership we must be aware when a storm brewing and be open to an unexpected storm in our face. A storm lets everyone adjust their path, see the unanticipated and learn important facts, from everyone, for changes ahead!
BMG believes that any organization can survive a storm. With a co-designed process BMG believes your storm deserves support and encouragement.
