“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.”
~ Buddha

“Nurturing yourself is not selfish — it’s essential to your survival and your well–being.”

Today’s blog is a gentle reminder of the power of positive thinking. Wellness and Well-being, simply put, is feeling healthy and fulfilled in life. Each person is different when it comes to being physically and mentally well. Yet, for each of us our wellness leads to our well-being.
Wellness and well-being – when you look good you feel good and when you feel good you look good! For example, when you feel safe and fulfilled, when you practice self-acceptance, when you strive for personal growth, when you find purpose in life, when you cope with life’s challenges, when you live your values, when you have positive relationships, when you express creativity and when you enjoy the present moment then wellness contributes to well-being and a sense of well-being leads to more wellness.
“Just living isn’t enough,” said the butterfly, “one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.”
~ Louisa Thomsen Brits
