Finding a daily smile can boost your overall health. Find a reason to smile every day! The simple act of smiling helps the immune system to function more effectively. A smile has the benefits of building trust, increase positivity, increase productivity and lower stress and anxiety. A simple smile can improve the ability to be present and attentive.
There is no doubt that finding a reason to smile is an all round good thing. As a leadership tool it builds trust, shows genuine caring and sets the tone of an agreeable workplace.
Set a purposeful intention to find a reason to smile, every day! Embrace a small act of kindness, do one nice thing for yourself, do something nice for someone else, make a gratitude list, listen to the birds, smell the rain, feel the sun, hear the wind, take a walk, be compassionate for those around you, think of those you love and most importantly love yourself. Smile for yourself.
