WELL … my first reaction to the weather, here in the GTA, in the past few days, was a typical frown. BUT … when I settled into a stay at home day and gave gratitude to be safe and warm the weather took on a whole new look and feel. My frown was replaced with my own sunshine!
Things often have an initial frown attached! In a leadership role it is a critical responsibility to manage an initial reaction and look for the bright side of possibility. A leader often has no control of the environmental changes around them but they do have control over how they respond and the decisions they make as they move forward. A leader can’t only worry about the storm but must see the good weather ahead! Be present in, and aware of your environment!
