A Friend’s Visit!

Blog

“The ornaments of our homes are the friends that visit it.”

            ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Good Friends don’t have to visit each other every day.”

            ~ Juan Manuel Santos

“True Friendship resists time, distance and silence.”

            ~ Isabel Allende

“The most important things in life are the connections you make with others.”

            ~ Tom Ford

I recently had a friend visit.  Perfect timing!  Many of us can relate to covid changes and the impact of those changes.  It seems more challenging to feel connected when some of our significant connections have had life altering impacts!  When a friend visits it’s more than a reminder of the empowering effect of human connection, it’s an opportunity to feel seen and valued and experience a sense of belonging and purpose!   Connections are about our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health!

It was a simple homemade soup day visit!  The kind of visit that leaves you feeling happy, grateful, loved, and cared for!  Time with a friend who understands you is an opportunity to better understand yourself.  Friendship is a two-way street, be grateful for your friends and be a good friend.
