Where Is The Snow?

“Snowflakes are pretty patterns etched in water’s dreams.”

“A snow day literally and figuratively falls from the sky, unbidden, and seems like a thing of wonder.”

“Even the strongest blizzards start with a single snowflake.”

The dull and gloomy days of November are messing with my spirt!  Where is the snow?  Snow makes the world bright and can cover a myriad of drab and gloomy crooks and bends.  I’d even welcome the downside of snow, which we all know are many:  shovelling, icy roads, cancellations to mentioned a few!  Yet I’d still welcome the downside to feel the brightness and to be pushed to explore the positive wonders of snow!

For me, as a kid, snow days were the best!  I got to stay home with my dad, and he was always ready to make snow angels.  And now I have the joy to watch the magic from the window.  I encourage all of us to see and feel our memories of all things snow and to appreciate the magic.  And to help others without such memories and experiences to find the magic of the snow!  No matter what the snow brings we all have the capacity to make the best and brightest of the days ahead.

“When it snows, you have two choices:  shovel or make snow angels.”
